Privacy policy
This policy describes the data Peak AI collects, how Pearl Fibers uses and protects it, how long we keep it, and your rights.
1. Who we are
Peak AI is operated by Pearl Fibers (the "Operator", "we", "us"). The product is accessible at ai.pearlfibers.com and via the API at ai.pearlfibers.com/v1.
2. What we collect
2.1 Account data (via Pearl Fibers SSO)
When you sign in we receive: your sub (account identifier), email address, display name, and profile picture URL. We do not see your password.
2.2 Usage data
For each request we record: timestamp, IP address, model used, prompt and completion token counts, computed cost, HTTP status code, and the API key identifier (for API calls).
2.3 Content
Conversation messages, file uploads, and API payloads — only as needed to render the response, generate documents, and let you reload prior sessions.
2.4 Diagnostic logs
Server-side error logs that may incidentally include short snippets of request data. Logs are kept up to 30 days then pruned.
3. How we use it
- Operate, secure, and improve Peak AI.
- Compute usage, enforce rate limits and monthly caps, and bill via your Pearl Fibers account.
- Respond to support requests.
- Detect and prevent abuse.
We do not use your prompts, completions, or uploaded files to train any model. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
4. Upstream model providers
Peak AI today routes requests to one or more upstream model providers selected by Pearl Fibers. Your prompts are transmitted to that provider in order to generate a response, and are subject to the provider's data handling — which we require, contractually, to exclude training on your data. The provider identity does not affect billing or branding visible to you. We will publish provider details on request to customers under NDA.
5. Retention

6. Your rights
You can:
- Access the data we hold about you by exporting from Settings or requesting a copy at privacy@pearlfibers.com.
- Delete individual conversations from the chat UI, or request full account deletion via email.
- Revoke API keys at any time from Settings.
We aim to respond to data requests within 30 days.
7. Security

8. Children
Peak AI is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone in that age range.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app at sign-in and on this page with a new "Effective" date.
