Terms of service

Effective: 2026-05-17 · Operator: Pearl Fibers

By using Peak AI you agree to these terms. We've kept them short.

For legal review. This document is a working draft prepared by the Peak AI engineering team. Please have your counsel review before relying on it for regulatory or contractual purposes.

1. The service

Peak AI is a hosted AI assistant and OpenAI-compatible API operated by Pearl Fibers (the "Operator", "we"). It is provided "as is" and we may add, remove, or change features at any time.

2. Eligibility

You must have a valid Pearl Fibers account to use Peak AI. Your account is yours alone; don't share credentials or API keys.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use Peak AI to:

Violations may result in suspension of access without notice.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the prompts you send and the completions you receive. You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any data you send, and for how you use what comes back.

5. Our content & brand

"Peak AI" and the Peak AI logo are trademarks of Pearl Fibers. You may reference them factually (e.g. "we use the Peak AI API"); please don't suggest endorsement we haven't granted.

6. Fees & billing

Chat is free for Pearl Fibers SSO users. API usage is billed per token at the rates published on /pricing, settled through your Pearl Fibers billing account. Rate changes apply to new requests only; historical bills are not re-priced. If your account is delinquent we may suspend API access until it is brought current.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but make no specific uptime guarantee under these terms. Status updates and incident history are at /status (when available).

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and request data deletion (see Privacy). We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

9. Disclaimers

Peak AI can produce inaccurate or biased output. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Verify before you act on it. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Pearl Fibers' aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of Peak AI is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 100 — whichever is greater.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll announce material changes in the app and on this page with a new "Effective" date. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Questions: legal@pearlfibers.com.
